We had never met Hailey before her session, but from the moment she walked through our door, we knew we’d never forget her. There was kindness in her eyes, quiet strength in her smile, and a presence that filled the room.

Hailey is a beautiful, strong senior who lives with epilepsy—a diagnosis that has shaped her journey in profound ways. What stood out most wasn’t just her resilience, but the way she advocates for herself and her health with wisdom beyond her years. Surrounded by a devoted and supportive family, Hailey is determined to live her best life, not in spite of her diagnosis, but alongside it.

Glammed Up and Camera Ready: The Power of Professional Makeup for Senior Pictures

One thing we absolutely loved about Hailey was how she fully embraced this session—starting with getting her makeup done by one of our incredibly talented professional artists here at CLP. While Hailey doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup, she went all in with a full-glam look, and we were so excited! We love a glam moment—not just because it’s fun to be pampered, but because it photographs beautifully and gives an extra boost of confidence during the shoot. Of course, we believe all of our senior girls are stunning just as they are, but professional makeup enhances natural features and elevates the entire experience. Hailey, thank you for going for it—you looked absolutely gorgeous!!

Senior Pictures that Capture Your Imagination: A Scene Straight Out of Vampire Diaries

Hailey had us laughing from start to finish during her session! From having her sister toss leaves in the air for the perfect fall effect to taking risks near the pond, rolling on the ground, and posing by a building straight out of The Vampire Diaries, which was definitely Hailey’s favorite set, every moment was filled with adventure and fun. We ended the night with Hailey dancing under the autumn leaves—a perfect reflection of her vibrant spirit.

A Picture Perfect End to Senior Season

Hailey was our very last senior we photographed for the Class of 2025, and she made sure we ended in the best way possible! She brought so much energy, personality, and fun to her shoot—it was an absolute blast from start to finish. Hailey is the kind of person who confidently owns her opinions, laughs the loudest in the room, and embraces who she is without hesitation. Watching her step in front of the our camera was such a joy! She even shared that getting her picture taken isn’t always her favorite thing, but she was genuinely excited for this session—and we think that excitement shows in every shot!

And that’s the girl we met that day—graceful, grounded, and glowing with a quiet kind of power.

As she’s matured, Hailey’s medications stopped working as effectively, and seizures became more frequent. But with strength and hope, she and her family pursued a new path. Shortly after our session, Hailey underwent surgery for a vagus nerve stimulation implant—a device that has helped her gain more control over her seizures and reclaim her freedom.

Her mom shared that the surgery was a success, and the results have been so encouraging. Which means Hailey is embracing every moment of senior year with joy, confidence, and the kind of gratitude that only comes from walking through something hard and finding light on the other side.
